I’m Matt Stevens, a fine artist whose work drifts between reality and imagination. Working in watercolor, ink, charcoal, and pastels, I create pieces that capture both the quiet beauty of real places and the whimsical charm of daydreams. My landscapes and travel scenes preserve fleeting moments of joy and peacefulness, while my more playful compositions invite viewers into worlds just slightly askew from everyday life.

I hold a Fine Arts degree from Missouri State University and have worked in the video game industry as an artist and animator. Those experiences gave me both technical skill and a deep appreciation for storytelling in art. Whether I’m translating the atmosphere of a mountain trail or the spark of a wandering thought, my work is rooted in curiosity, movement, and the emotional resonance of color.

Today I share my original paintings, prints, and commissions as a way to connect my journeys, both real and imagined, with others who find meaning in the small, magical details of life.
